Société d’Electricité is a curatorial platform based in Molenbeek’s eponymous former electricity factory. It was founded in 2015 to establish a link between conceptual and algorithmic arts. Société is directed by Els Vermang.

The Night Watch presents the third chapter of Societe’s eponymous project. Where the first chapter presented a performance evening at The Merode and the second chapter a radio show on Lyl Radio, the third chapter returns home to present an exhibition.

The Night Watch is a cycle of radiophonic creations taking insomnia as a condition for artistic creation. An immaterial exhibition imagined by Els Vermang, artists and theoreticians selected by curator Claire Contamine were invited to expose their universe as an escape from this physiological state.
