PACO POMET – SOME NEW DISORDERS
In Some New Disorders, Paco Pomet intrudes upon his signature monochromatic, realist scenes with details both cartoonish and surreal. Drawing inspiration from vintage photographs of figures, household interiors, and cityscapes, Pomet disrupts a sense of archival solemnity with the absurdity of overblown hands, light sabers, and comic book-like marks indicating exertion and movement. The exhibition will be on view in Brussels from November 18th – December 16th, 2023.
Opening November 17th from 7 pm until 10 pm.
