‘Poetry of Living’ is the first solo exhibition by Swedish artist Emma Larson at the gallery and in Belgium. Emma Larson (SE) presents a series of recent paintings and watercolors on paper that feature abundant fungal forms with multiple eyes and toxic halos. Within these vibrant shades, extravagant and colorful vegetation thrives. Each watercolor or paper painting is enriched with dry pastels, markers, colored pencils, pigments, and spray. These layers of colors create a delightful array of textures, materials, and transparencies, celebrating the pure joy of colors and organic shapes in the compositions.
